An article from Trusted Reviews, a British gaming publication, was removed from their website due to sourcing a leaked document with unrevealed details from Rockstar Games’ recent smash hit, Red Dead Redemption 2.

The article, written in February 2018, used a corporate document that the site claimed was obtained in August 2017 and couldn’t be confirmed by other sources until months later, although it’s still unknown how or where it was obtained. Among previously unveiled elements and mechanics, the document detailed the game’s first-person mode, which allows players to experience the game from the protagonist’s perspective, and a battle royale mode for Red Dead Online, which has yet to be confirmed by Rockstar.

After pulling the article, Trusted Reviews made a statement apologizing for spreading confidential information and promising to donate a settlement of over £1,000,000, or approximately $1,300,000, to the American Indian College Fund, the American Prairie Reserve, and the First Nations Development Institute.
